How does the unseen dog fence work?
Without being too technical, a transmitter, about the size of a chess board, is placed in a weather protected containment (typically a garage) where standard electric wall outlet is easily accessible. A radio signal is produced by the transmitter around the perimeter of the containment area through an underground cable. The radio signal emits from the cable and up from the ground. It cannot be noticed by the dog except by the receiver that is attached to a collar of the pet. The radio frequency by the transmitter is unique to the collar that your pet is wearing. When your dog is approaching the perimeter, the receiver (collar) detects the frequency and initiates response.
